What is a domain name?

Your domain name is your web address on the Internet. This is what your visitors will use to find you easily. For example, Hostchili’s domain name is hostchili.com. Your domain name is unique to you; once you have registered it, nobody else can register the same one for as long as you continue to renew it. After you register a domain name, you can use it as website address or as an email address.
